Mouw seems to be arguing that Mormons are becoming close to Orthodox Christians and their/our theology. Should we treat them more ecumenically or as others argue should we keep them at arm's length because in fact they are not very close2 Orthodox Christianity even though they make a pretense of such. Mouw says it is not a pretense, but it is genuine. Has he been beguiled by his close relationships with the Mormon bigwigs or is his discernment spot-on?
