,,,I had a website on posterous dedicated to refuting & exposing Richard Mouw (as well as Nancey Murphy) (both faculty members at Fuller Seminary who do NOT believe in soul; Mouw is also the president of the seminary). Nancy, herself, openly admits she does not believe in soul, albeit most often couches it in "sophisticated" philosophical language (ie "physicalism" , "dualism" etc) ; while Mouw is more covert about it, presumably for pragmatic reasons to try to maintain popular appeal amongst lay persons (whatever appeal there may be ). it took me a LONG TIME to realize that despite Mouw having been close to our family in terms of social circles, church circles, & academic circles, he was NOT in fact a true adherent to the Reformed faith in terms of its belief in a classical theological understanding of Christian soul. It was absolutely SHOCKING to realize this after so many years presuming he had highly similar if not identical beliefs & convictions as myself & my family in terms of traditional Christian doctrine.
